I made this map, called Schoolbord, for the Eindhoven School of Education (ESoE). The idea was to visualize the natural service area of the ESoE. We wanted to show at which high schools our students did their student teaching practice. The mapping between student and school was to be made alongside the map using simple forms printed on magnetic cards: students would glue on a picture of themselves and write down the number of the school the were teaching at.
Although the map was hung on the wall at the start of "our hallway", the mapping from school to students was never made. It was one of many failed initiatives.
Download the map as a SVG file or a PDF file. The size of the map is A1. It was created using d3.
