During my education in Technische Informatica (Computer Science and Engineering) and history I have written many papers. Some of them I present on my website because they might be interesting. These papers are in dutch:

• A paper on the 1996 Internet World Fair.
• A larger paper on sustain-ability of digital data and the problems related to it. The title of the paper is: Van papier tot morgen. Over de problemen van duurzame digitale informatie (From paper to tomorrow).
• A paper on the history of the SIMULA languages.
• I wrote my Bachelor's thesis in history on itinerant kingship in tenth century Ottonian Germany.

Furthermore, in 2007 I wrote and presented a paper on the ALGOL Effort at the MEDICHI conference in Klagenfurt. In ALGOL, more than just ALGOL I argue that the ALGOL effort was more than just an effort to create a new programming language; the ALGOL effort was the vehicle of the creation of the international scientific field of computer science.
